Welcome to our Consumer Science classroom blog! My name is Linnae Edgeworth and I am your instructor for this trimester. I have worked for the Oxnard Union High School District for the past eight years. I'm the mother of two young daughters. My oldest daughter, Keira, is age four, and I have a four month old daughter, Brielle. I decided to go into teaching after my first year of substitute teaching in 2010. I discovered that I had a love for teaching and being part of an education team with students. I love watching students learn new concepts, connect what they are learning to their own personal life, and growing as a human being. I recently took a personality test to measure what type of personality I have and my results were that I am a leader. Although I agree with this, my classroom will always be fair with respect both given and taken. I am the leader of our classroom, but I take great pride in including students on our journey to discovering what we can learn. Together we will work together to keep each other up to date on all Consumer Science News, classroom announcements, and important information.
